Our Story
Nandish Health: Leading the Future of Integrated Healthcare in New Zealand
Nandish Health is setting a new benchmark for patient-centred care, offering a visionary model that integrates physical, neurological, and emotional wellbeing.
Founded by Dr Karen Singh, a visionary and leader in neurobehavioral healthcare, the clinic operates from Meadowlands Shopping Centre and provides a full suite of services including chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage, psychology, and wellness care - all under one roof.
The clinic recently welcomed Prime Minister and Botany MP Rt Hon Christopher Luxon, who toured the facility and met with Dr Singh and her team. He expressed strong interest in Nandish Health’s innovative, holistic approach and its contribution to national healthcare reform.
Nandish Health treats a wide range of conditions such as chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, pregnancy-related discomfort, fatigue, migraines, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation. The clinic is also known for supporting patients with trauma, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, fibromyalgia, and burnout using root-cause assessments, hands-on therapies, and lifestyle interventions.
“Over a decade ago, we identified critical gaps in public and private healthcare particularly around preventative care,” says Dr Singh. "Today, with 79% of GPs reporting burnout, the system is failing both patients and providers. Our model addresses this by treating health as interconnected - body, mind, and social wellbeing must be considered together. Sustainable healthcare must support both patients and practitioners.”
Originally founded as Nandish Chiropractic, the clinic expanded and rebranded in response to growing community demand. “We listened to our patients,” Dr Singh says. “Now, we help them restore balance, regulate their nervous systems, and build lasting self-care routines.”
As the national conversation shifts and the health system faces rising demand and burnout among clinicians, Nandish Health stands out as a working model of integrated, future-focused care - one the Prime Minister himself came to witness.

Recent Milestone
In June 2025, Nandish Health was honoured to host the Prime Minister of New Zealand at the official opening of our rebranded flagship clinic in East Auckland. This landmark visit signals growing national recognition of the need to scale accessible, root-cause and lifestyle-focused healthcare across Aotearoa.
“New Zealanders are asking for a healthcare system that doesn’t just patch things up but actually heals, that’s what we do every day at Nandish Health.”
- Dr Karen Singh

Looking Ahead: Reimagining the Future of Healthcare in Aotearoa
At Nandish Health, we believe it’s time to ask the hard questions: If we have so much healthcare - why are we still so sick?
Chronic pain, anxiety, burnout, and preventable diseases are rising across all age groups. New Zealand spends billions on healthcare, yet we continue to operate a system that often waits until people fall off the edge before offering help - what we call the "ambulance at the bottom of the cliff" approach.
We’re leading a bold shift toward a new era of healthcare one that’s upstream, proactive, and preventative, powered by cutting-edge neuroscience, evidence-based practice, and a deep commitment to healing the root cause, not just the symptoms.
And the demand is urgent: A recent survey found that 79% of New Zealand doctors report being burnt out, overwhelmed, or stressed. The current system is stretched thin, reactive in nature, and unsustainable for both practitioners and patients.

Our Vision
Nandish Health with the leadership of Dr Karen Singh envisions a public-private alliance where our integrated, root-cause, and lifestyle-focused model of care is embedded within New Zealand’s national health system.
We believe:
We believe:
- Healthcare should be proactive, not reactive.
Prevention, education, and early intervention must be prioritised over short-term band aid fixes. - Mental and physical health are inseparable.
Nervous system regulation, trauma-informed care, and emotional resilience must be standard practice integrated within the education systems so we raise happy and healthy kids. - Doctors, Educators and clinicians deserve to thrive, not survive.
By relieving pressure on GPs and emergency care through integrated allied health services, we can protect the long-term viability of our workforce. - Communities deserve culturally conscious, whole-person care.
Our model is already working in one of the most diverse regions of New Zealand. It's scalable, inclusive, and ready to meet the realities of today’s population from babies to our elderly.
Our Mission
To ignite a national shift in how we heal by empowering individuals and communities with deeply accessible, trauma-informed, and neuroscience-backed care that goes beyond symptoms to uncover and identify and address the true root causes of illness whether physiological, neurological, psychological, or social through integrated, evidence-based care.
We are deeply honoured by the Prime Minister’s presence at such a pivotal moment in our journey.
His visit affirms that the future of healthcare in Aotearoa must evolve moving beyond symptom management toward a model that addresses root causes, supports proactive wellbeing and empowers lifestyle change.
With over a decade of frontline experience, we stand ready to lead this transformation offering a system where prevention, integration, and compassion are as vital as clinical excellence.

🇳🇿 Overburdened, Overmedicated, and Overlooked:
What NZ Health is Getting Wrong
New Zealand’s healthcare system is under immense pressure strained by growing wait times, workforce shortages, and an over-reliance on pharmaceutical interventions. Yet a key solution continues to be overlooked: chiropractic care.
At Nandish Health, we see hundreds of patients each month who feel unheard, dismissed, or lost in a system that’s reactive rather than responsive. Many come to us after falling through the cracks searching not only for relief, but for clear, transparent guidance.
As registered primary healthcare providers under the HPCA Act, chiropractors are trained to assess, diagnose, and manage many of the most common issues clogging GP clinics and specialist referrals particularly musculoskeletal pain. Despite this, Te Whatu Ora and ACC have yet to formally integrate chiropractors into public health pathways or core contracts.
This systemic oversight forces patients into already overburdened medical services. The result? Delayed recovery, rising costs, and missed opportunities for early, effective intervention.
If we are serious about building a sustainable healthcare system, we must stop ignoring frontline solutions already regulated, qualified, and delivering results. It’s time to rethink what effective, community-based care can and should look like.
