What Would You Like Support With?

Patients come to The Infusion Room with different health histories, needs and goals. Your nurse will listen first and explain which options may be suitable for medical review.

Energy and Fatigue
For people feeling run down, depleted or struggling to maintain their usual energy. Appropriate investigations may be recommended where symptoms require further assessment.
Focus and Cognitive Performance
For people exploring personalised wellness support for mental clarity, focus and demanding periods of work or study.
Stress and Recovery
For people experiencing a demanding season, poor recovery or ongoing physical and mental load.
Athletic Performance and Recovery
For active people seeking clinically guided hydration or nutrient support around training and recovery.
Immunity and Post-Illness Recovery
For people seeking personalised support following illness or during periods of increased health demands. IV therapy does not replace medical investigation or treatment for persistent symptoms.
Beauty and Healthy Ageing
For patients exploring prescribed antioxidant, nutrient or longevity-focused infusion options as part of a wider health and wellbeing plan.
Iron and Nutrient Deficiency
For patients with a clinically identified deficiency and appropriate blood results. Iron and other deficiency treatments require medical review and prescription.
Proactive Wellness
For people who want a structured, medically guided approach rather than choosing a generic drip from a menu.

What Is IV Infusion Therapy?

Picture
IV infusion therapy delivers prescribed fluids or selected substances through a small cannula placed into a vein. This route enters the circulation directly rather than passing through the digestive system.

Our service is designed for patients who value both the comfort of a premium wellness experience and the safeguards of a properly governed clinical pathway.

Suitability depends on your health history, medications, allergies, clinical information, available blood results and the proposed treatment. That is why every infusion at Nandish Health begins with screening and medical oversight.

How Your IV Infusion Journey Works
Your 3 Steps With Us

Step 1 - Enquiry, Health Forms and Blood Results
Contact us and we will send the required intake, health-screening and consent forms. Complete the forms carefully and provide any recent blood-test results requested by the clinical team. Blood results can be sent securely to [email protected].

Step 2 - Complimentary Nurse Phone Consultation
Once your information has been received, a member of our specialised IV team will speak with you about your medical history, medications, allergies, preferences and health goals. This conversation helps identify which pathway may be appropriate to submit for medical review. Additional blood testing or clearance from your usual doctor or specialist may be required.
Our prescribing doctor reviews the available clinical information and determines whether IV treatment is suitable. If approved, the doctor issues an individual prescription. The current prescribing fee is $60.

Step 3 - Your Private Infusion Appointment
Once the medical clearance is in place, we confirm your appointment.
Your nurse completes the pre-infusion checks, explains the treatment, inserts the IV cannula and monitors you throughout the session. Most appointments run for approximately 30 to 60 minutes or longer, depending on the infusion, dose and individual tolerance. NAD+ and other specialist treatments may take considerably longer. Your nurse provides aftercare guidance and explains any recommended follow-up.

For legal and safety reasons, we do not publish full ingredient lists on our website until we do your health screening. Some nutrients used in IV therapy are classified as prescription medicines under the Medicines Act 1981, which means they cannot be publicly advertised. During your private consultation, our nurse will explain each IV blend in detail including what’s included, how it may support your goals, whether it’s suitable for you, and what to expect during treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see the ingredients on your website?
Under New Zealand's Medicines Act 1981, several nutrients used in IV therapy are classified as prescription medicines which means they can't be publicly advertised. Every IV clinic follows this rule - contact us for a brochure.
What you'll get: a private consultation with our Registered Nurse, a full ingredient breakdown of your personalised blend, prices and a written consent form to review before your infusion begins. Nothing hidden - just kept private until we've had a consultation.

Do I need to know which IV infusion I want?
No. Begin with a phone consultation with our IV nurse. We will listen to what you are looking for, explain the process and identify what information is required for medical review.

How does an IV drip session work?
You'll meet with our Registered Nurse first. She'll review your health history, goals, and current symptoms then design a personalised blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and hydration fluids based on what your body actually needs.
The infusion itself takes 30–60 minutes. You can rest, work, read, or simply close your eyes. Most people return to their normal day straight after.

How do I know if IV therapy is right for me?
IV therapy suits a wide range of people those experiencing fatigue, low immunity, or nutrient depletion, busy professionals, athletes recovering from training, and people coming back from illness or a hard stretch.
The honest answer? We don't know until we've spoken with you. That's why the first consultation is free - book a 15-minute chat with our IV team and we'll tell you straight whether IV therapy fits your situation, or whether something else is the better starting point.

Do I need blood tests?
It depends on the treatment being considered and your health history. Some infusions require recent results or additional testing. If blood tests are required, the clinical team will explain which results are needed.

How long does an infusion take?
Appointment length depends on the prescribed infusion, dose and individual tolerance. Many appointments take approximately 30 to 90 minutes, while some specialist treatments can take longer. You will receive a more specific estimate once your treatment has been prescribed.

Is IV therapy safe?

When administered by a Registered Nurse following clinical protocols, IV therapy is considered low-risk for otherwise-healthy adults. Risk increases for people with underlying conditions, which is why the pre-session health screen isn't optional and why we'd rather turn a session away than push it through.

How often should I come in?
That depends entirely on your nurse's clinical judgement and your goals.
Some clients benefit from a single restorative session. Others do well on monthly infusions over a 3 to 6 month plan. Your nurse will recommend a rhythm that genuinely fits your body.

Will I feel better after a session?
Most clients describe feeling hydrated, clearer, and noticeably more energised often within 24 to 48 hours. Some feel it sooner. Some feel it deeper after a few sessions rather than after one. Individual experience varies, and we don't promise specific outcomes.

Do I need a referral?
No referral required.
That said, if you're currently under specialist care, particularly for oncology, cardiology, renal, or hepatology conditions, please check with your treating clinician before booking.

Does ACC cover IV drips?
ACC does not cover elective IV vitamin infusions.

Are IV infusions covered by health insurance?
Coverage varies between insurers and policies. Contact your insurer before treatment if you intend to make a claim. We can provide an itemised receipt where appropriate.

Can I book immediately?

New patients must complete the required screening and clinical review before an infusion can proceed. Begin with the IV nurse phone consultation so we can guide you through the next steps.

What should I do before my IV?

Three simple things:
  • Eat a light meal 1–2 hours before
  • Drink plenty of water that morning
  • Wear something with loose sleeves
That's it. We handle the rest.

Can I add IV therapy to my existing Nandish Health plan?
Yes and we encourage it.
If you already see one of our chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, or mental wellness practitioners, just mention IV therapy at your next visit. We'll coordinate timing across your wider care plan so everything works together.

Can I get an IV during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Some hydration-focused infusions may be appropriate during pregnancy, particularly for hyperemesis (severe morning sickness).
All pregnancy IVs undergo clinical review. Please contact us before booking if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, we'll work through it carefully.

Where are you located?
Meadowlands Shopping Plaza, 112 Whitford Road, Howick, Auckland. Free parking on-site. Easy access from Pakuranga, Botany, East Tamaki, Whitford, Ormiston, Manukau, Highland Park and across greater Auckland.

Your Infusion Nurse at Nandish Health

Meet Alleya
Alleya is a Registered Nurse with experience across IV therapy, phlebotomy, cosmetic and hair-transplant nursing, surgical and procedural care, PRP and PRF treatments, wound care and pre- and post-operative patient support. Her procedural background brings precision and confidence to every infusion, while her previous community-health experience informs her calm, holistic and patient-centred approach.
Alleya takes the time to explain each step, answer questions and help patients feel comfortable, listened to and supported throughout their appointment.
At Nandish Health, your infusion is delivered by a registered nurse who brings hospital-grade clinical skill into a calm, considered wellness setting.

Every nurse on our infusion team is NZ Nursing Council registered, trained in advanced IV cannulation and credentialed in emergency response and management  so from the moment you sit down to the moment your drip finishes, you're in genuinely expert hands.

But clinical skill is only half of what makes an infusion feel restorative. Our nurses are chosen for their presence as much as their precision. They take the time to understand your health history, listen to what you're hoping to get out of your session, and walk you through every step before the cannula goes in. Cannulation is gentle and methodical. Monitoring is attentive. And the space they create during your drip whether you're here for a Bespoke Blend, a Signature Collection, or recovery support is one where you can genuinely relax.
